Dog Trainer for
The Prestigious Paw LLC
Lindsey is our newest member of The Prestigious Paw LLC family! Having grown up with animals since before she can remember, Lindsey strongly believes that pets are a member of the family and should be treated and respected as such.
Before she knew anything about the dog training world, Lindsey was an F/A-18 Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps. She served for 4 years and was discharged in October of 2016 where she began to work at a dog daycare in her hometown. Deciding to branch out with her love for dogs, she jumped at the opportunity to apprentice under Lisa in order to become a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT) as well as a future Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Tricks Evaluator! Positive reinforcement training amazed her due to its incredible results and how dogs were jumping (literally and figuratively) at the opportunity to train. She adopted the philosophy that dogs shouldn't work for nothing and that training is a constant process throughout their life.
Although becoming a certified professional dog trainer is not required in order to instruct, Lindsey is working towards her certification. She wants to separate herself from the hobbyists and assert herself as a professional and knowledgeable dog trainer with the certifications to back her up!
In her spare time, Lindsey enjoys reading, spending time with family, and going for hikes with her dog Logan. Lindsey also assists in Lisa's breeding program for Australian Shepherds; aiding in training the Aussie puppies before they leave the farm to their new families. You can visit www.aislinfields.com to learn more about Lisa's breeding program.
Lindsey currently teaches the Puppy K, Beginner, and Family Manners Group Classes. She also offers Private Sessions and Walk & Sit programs for those looking into individual lesson plans.
